Subban missed time early this season because of a contract dispute but came on strong throughout the season. He led all NHL defensemen in scoring with 11 goals and 27 assists while continuing to be a nuisance to the league's opposing forwards. He also had a plus-12 rating, 51 hits, and 49 blocked shots.
