Brett Favre: Aaron Rodgers is going to 'shatter' my Packers records

In another step in his attempt to make nice with the Green Bay Packers organization and quarterback Aaron Rodgers, legendary Packers signal-caller Brett Favre predicted that Rodgers was going to "shatter" his own franchise records by the end of Rodgers' career.
"Aaron has played extremely well, probably even better than anyone anticipated," Favre said on Sirius XM NFL radio, according to USA Today. "But I knew he was capable of that, and that's why they drafted him. Barring any injury, he'll shatter everything I ever did there except for maybe consecutive games (played). But the guy has been tremendous, great move on their part."
Favre is the owner of several NFL passing records, including most passing touchdowns (508), most passing yards (71,838), most completions (6,300), most starts (298), and most wins (186). Favre also holds the record for most career interceptions (336).
Favre has embarked on something of a public push lately to mend fences with Rodgers and the Packers organization after a much-publicized rift over the past five years. Last week, Favre said that he was "at fault" for the way things fell apart between the two sides in 2007.
On Thursday, Favre said he was "proud" of Rodgers. He also dismissed much of the perceived rift between the two sides as a media creation.
"I was well aware of the media making a big deal out of it. ... I knew it wasn't true; Aaron knew it wasn't true," Favre said. "Did I talk to him all the time (after leaving)? No. Do I talk to other guys all the time? No. But he knows how I feel about him, and he knows how I feel about his career up to this point."
