Doc Rivers will no longer pursue the Los Angeles Clippers' head coaching position, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

The Clippers were working on bringing Rivers on board and then adding Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce afterward. This came after David Stern said that the NBA would likely reject any trade that would send Rivers and Kevin Garnett to the Clippers. Stern added that the only assets allowed in NBA trades are player contracts, draft picks and cash.
