The Jacksonville Jaguars signed No. 2 overall pick Luke Joeckel to a four-year contract. Joeckel is 10th first-rounder to sign with a team.

A dominant left tackle at Texas A&M, Joeckel went through a bit of an awkward transition as he switched from left to right tackle for the Jaguars.

But in early May he said that the switch was going well. From the AP report:

"It's feeling a lot better than I thought it would," Joeckel said following a May 5 practice. "My set felt a lot cleaner today and my first step felt a little bit faster today. It's going to be a process, but it's moving along pretty well."

The Jaguars already have Joeckel locked into a starting role, hoping to improve an offensive line that allowed 50 sacks last season.
