The Big Ten will add the Holiday Bowl and the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl to its postseason bowl lineup, according to ESPN reporter Adam Rittenberg. Both bowl games will pit Big Ten teams against Pac-12 teams.
According to the report, Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany will announce the moves during a conference call on Monday with Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott. The bowl games are expected to begin at the start of the 2014 season. The Big Ten has already added the Pinstripe Bowl in New York at Yankee Stadium and will continue to participate in the Capital One, Outback, Gator and Heart of Dallas bowls. The Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl has never hosted a Big Ten team before, which moves to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
