Signs confirm the Cleveland Cavaliers have narrowed their choice for the NBA Draft's No. 1 pick to a big man, according to FOX Sports Ohio. If the Cavs don't trade the top pick, they'll select either Kentucky center Nerlens Noel or Maryland center Alex Len.

From FOX Sports Ohio:

Multiple league executives have told FOX Sports Ohio that the Cavs’ recent attempts to trade for a veteran small forward point to general manager Chris Grant settling on a big man with that first pick.

A recent report said the Cavs offered picks Nos. 1 and 19 to the Portland Trail Blazers for power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, but a source referred to those talks as “old news.”

Either way, sources feel the Cavs’ discussions with teams will lead right up until the draft (and perhaps into it).

On Sunday, Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer wrote the Cavs would draft Len if they took a big man.

Both big men enter the draft coming off injuries. Noel tore an ACL in his left knee in February. Len suffered a partial stress fracture in his left ankle in April.
