The Ottawa Senators have acquired star Bobby Ryan in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks, TSN's Bob McKenzie first reported and the Ottawa Sun confirmed.

In the trade, the Ducks will receive Jakob Silfverberg, Stefan Noesen and a 2014 first-round pick.

Ryan, 26, has scored 147 goals in his six NHL seasons, all with Anaheim. This past season Ryan scored 11 goals and added 19 assists.

The trade was made after Ottawa lost Daniel Alfredsson to the Detroit Red Wings.

Anaheim got two young right wingers in the deal. Silverberg, 22, scored 10 goals last season, his first in the NHL. Noesen, 20, was a first-round pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
