The Milwaukee Bucks and free-agent guard O.J. Mayo have agreed upon a three-year, $24 million deal, according to multiple reports. The deal can't be made official until July 10.
Mayo, who signed a two-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks last season, decided to decline his player-option with the Mavericks to test free agency. The Bucks traded guard J.J. Redick to the Los Angeles Clippers in a part of a three-team deal involving the Phoenix Suns earlier this week and, as Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski reports, the Bucks may stand to lose guard Monta Ellis, as well.
The 25-year-old Mayo averaged 15.3 points on 44 percent shooting to go along with 4.3 assists while playing in all 82 games for the Mavericks last season.
