Report: Devin Harris agrees to three-year deal with Dallas Mavericks

Veteran point guard Devin Harris has agreed to a three-year deal worth more than $9 million to return to the Dallas Mavericks, ESPNDallas.com's Tim McMahon is reporting.

The 30-year-old Harris averaged 9.9 points and 3.4 assists per game as a part-time starter for the Hawks last season. He spent the first three-plus seasons of his career in Dallas -- reaching the finals in 2005-06 -- before being traded to the New Jersey Nets for Jason Kidd.

Harris boasts career averages of 12.8 points, 4.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game on 44-percent shooting, enjoying his best season in 2008, when he averaged 21.3 points and 6.9 assists for the Nets.
