After the exodus of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett this offseason, it's safe to say that the regular playoff battles between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat will be put on hold for at least a little while.

But that didn't stop the Celtics' biggest star, point guard Rajon Rondo, from firing a shot at the Heat and former Celtic teammate Ray Allen.

At Rondo's basketball camp in Kentucky, Rondo told the crowd that he'd "never play for the Heat," according to NESN.

Rondo's name has been thrown around as the next possible departure as the Celtics look to retool over the next few years. In addition to Garnett and Pierce, the Celtics also unloaded guard Jason Terry this offseason in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets. The Dallas Mavericks reportedly engaged in trade talks with the Celtics about Rondo, and New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony wanted the Knicks to pursue Rondo in the wake of the Celtics' other trade.
