The Winnipeg Jets signed center Bryan Little to a five-year deal and worth $23.5 million, the team announced Monday.

Little, who avoided arbitration by agreeing to the deal, was the 12th overall pick in the 2006 NHL Draft by the Atlanta Thrashers. He played in 48 games during the 2012-13 season, scoring seven goals and 32 points.

Little, 25, has spent his entire career with the Atlanta/Winnipeg franchise. He scored a career-high 31 goals and 51 points in 2008-09 and posted 24 goals two seasons ago.

Little has 99 goals and 227 points in 404 career games.
