Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta dislocated his hip in a collision at the team's third practice of training camp and will be out for the season, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

If Pitta is out for the season, he will earn $2.023 million this year and become a free agent in March.

During the first fully padded practice of the Ravens' camp, Pitta collided with safety James Ihedigbo after running a pattern to the back of the end zone, according to The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson.

He was carted off the field with a towel draped over his face, Wilson reports.
