Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier told new wide receiver Greg Jennings to knock off his public criticism of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Pioneer Press' Ben Goessling reported on Saturday that Frazier met privately with Jennings earlier in the day to deliver his instructions. Since signing with the Vikings in March, Jennings has frequently criticized Rodgers, a teammate for seven seasons with the Packers.

"We're the Vikings and we want to talk about us, what we're trying to get done," Frazier said. "That's where our focus has to be. There's so much work to be done, and we don't want to be looking at what's happening with other teams, other teams' players. We've got to focus on us. He's good with that."

Jennings has not shied from making his feelings about Rodgers public after his split from Green Bay. He has, at points, refused to refer to Rodgers by name, calling him "No. 12" or "the guy they have now." He has said he prefers Brett Favre to Rodgers. And he has said Rodgers shouldn't get as much credit for the Packers' success as he claims.

For his part, Rodgers has refused to take the bait.

"To me, I'm concerned with the opinions of the guys in this locker room and the guys we have here,'' Rodgers said when asked about the ordeal on Friday, according to ESPN.com. "It's exciting to be able to be one of the leaders of this football team, and I'm very confident in my style."
