Miami Dolphins wide receiver Armon Binns tore both his ACL and MCL on Sunday and will miss the entire 2013 season, The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reported.

The 23-year-old Binns appeared in three games for Miami last season after he was claimed off waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals.

Binns excelled in the spring and the Dolphins' offseason workout program. This season, he was expected to be the team's No. 4 wide receiver and earn significant playing time behind behind Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline, and Brandon Gibson.

The second-year receiver out of Cincinnati has 24 receptions for 277 yards and a touchdown in his career.
