The New York Jets and first-round draft pick Dee Milliner have agreed to terms on a contract, the team announced Sunday night. The cornerback Milliner is expected to report to Jets' training camp in Cortland, N.Y., on Monday, after missing the first three days of training camp.

Milliner was the ninth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, and he comes in with high hopes. He will help fill the void left by all-world cornerback Darrelle Revis, who the Jets traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this year.

The Jets didn't immediately specify the terms of the contract. ESPN.com's Rich Cimini reported that the deal is for four years and $12.66 million — all fully guaranteed.

Milliner was projected at points as a top-five pick in the draft, but some teams shied away because of his injury history at Alabama. Most recently, he had to undergo surgery in March to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder. Jets head coach Rex Ryan said last week that Milliner would have to pass a physical and conditioning test before being cleared to participate in drills.
