Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde will not be charged with assault stemming from a July 20 altercation at a bar after the alleged victim told police she was not going to press charges, according to Channel 10 in Columbus. The case is now officially closed.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Ohio State coaches are aware of the decision.

Surveillance video of the incident, which can be seen below, was released on Tuesday afternoon by WTVN in Columbus.

On July 22, head coach Urban Meyer announced Hyde would be suspended indefinitely, pending legal action. Hyde rushed for 970 yards and 16 touchdowns on 185 attempts as a junior last season.
