TMZ has revealed a letter written by Aaron Hernandez to a supporter from his jail cell. TMZ reports "law enforcement" has verified the letter to be authentic.
Hernandez replied to a letter from a fan claiming he wanted to reach out and support the former New England Patriots tight end because he was in the same Massachusetts jail 15 years ago.

In his letter, Hernandez declares his innocence, refers to his murder charges as God's plan and says he will return to the NFL.
Here are some of the letter's highlights from TMZ:
"The world just makes things out of false accusations ... and it will all die down, especially when they say NOT GUILTY"
"All the people who turned on me will feel like crap."
"God put me in this situation for a reason."
"Can't wait to sign [autographs] again when I'm playing again an [sic] prove all the haters WRONG."
A judge has given prosecutors more time
to present evidence to a grand jury against Hernandez, who has pleaded not guilty to murder in the death of Odin Lloyd. The 27-year-old Boston semi-professional football player's body was found June 17 in an industrial park near Hernandez's home. Lloyd had been shot five times.
