Pacers forward Chris Copeland expected at training camp after knee surgery

Pacers forward Chris Copeland underwent arthroscopic on his left knee, but the team expects him to be ready for training camp.
The surgery to remove a loose body was considered successful and Copeland is expected to recover in six to eight weeks.

Copeland was signed by the Pacers in July after averaging 8.7 points and 2.1 rebounds a game, and shooting 47.9 percent -- 42.1 percent from three-point range -- as a 28-year-old rookie with the Knicks last season. He played in Spain, German, Belgium and the NBA Developmental League before the Knicks took a chance on him.
