Terrell Owens' agent says he has been in contact with several teams for Owens' possible return to the NFL, reports

Owens is 39 years old and hasn't played in the NFL since 2010 when he spent a season with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Owens has 1,078 catches for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns in 16 NFL seasons.

"He really wants to play," Owens' agent, Jordan Woy said. "He knows he's up against the wall, but he really wants to play."

Owens' last appearance at an NFL training camp came last season with the Seattle Seahawks, but he was cut by the team before the camp ended.

"I know if he goes out there and gets a shot, he'll make a team," Woy said. "We've talked to a lot of teams that have said he's a great talent, we're set as of right now, but if we have injuries, we may reach back out."
