The Green Bay Packers will bring quarterback Vince Young in to try out as a backup to Aaron Rodgers, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

According to the report, the 30-year-old quarterback was at Austin-Straubel airport and is scheduled to work out with the Packers on Monday. Young hasn't appeared in the NFL since 2011 when he threw for 866 yards as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Young will compete with 28-year-old Graham Harrell and 24-year-old B.J. Coleman to backup the 2011 AP MVP Rodgers.

Young, a two-time Pro Bowler was selected No. 3 overall in the 2006 draft by the Tennessee Titans and was unable to break camp with the Buffalo Bills last season. In six seasons in the NFL between the Titans and Eagles, Young has thrown for 8,964 yards and 46 touchdowns against 51 interceptions.
