Former NBA player Dennis Rodman is back in North Korea to visit leader Kim Jong Un, The Associated Press reports.

Rodman visited the country in February as part of a so-called "basketball diplomacy" mission organized by VICE. (See the video.) The former NBA player and the North Korean leader watched a basketball game together.

In May, Rodman called on his friend Kim to "do me a solid" and release Korean-American missionary Kenneth Bae, who had been sentenced to 15 years of hard labor. Bae has not been released, and Rodman's current visit comes after North Korea rejected a visit from an American delegation seeking Bae's release. Rodman declined to tell reporters whether he would ask Kim to release Bae.

Instead, the Worm said he is visiting as a friend.

From the AP report:

“I just want to meet my friend Kim, the marshal, and start a basketball league over there or something like that,” said Rodman, wearing rings through his lower lip and each nostril. “I have not been promised anything. I am just going there as a friendly gesture. ...“I’m not there to be a diplomat. I’m there to go there and just have a good time, sit with (Kim) and his family, and that’s pretty much it,” Rodman said
