Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick said his younger teammates don't respect him, according to Philadelphia Daily News reporter Les Bowen.

Vick attempted to break up an altercation between cornerback Cory Williams and controversial wide receiver Riley Cooper and became upset when a Daily News reporter approached him.

"I try to be the peacemaker, but these young dudes don't respect me," Vick told the Daily News reporter after the incident.

Vick went on to say that the maturity level on the Eagles "gotta be on a completely different plane," and that the scrum between Cooper and Williams is a "distraction" for the team heading into Week 1. Cooper dismissed the incident as "nothing," saying that Williams was being "competitive" and that a lot of contact occurred to cause the fight.
