The Patriots have downgraded rookie wide receiver Aaron Dobson from questionable to out for Week 1.
The second-round pick has been limited during the past week with a hamstring injury and his status remains day-to-day.
With Dobson out, the Patriots will go with Julian Edelman and Josh Boyce behind Danny Amendola and undrafted rookie Kenbrell Thompkins.
Running back Brandon Bolden, defensive back Nate Ebner and defensive back Duron Harmon have all also been dropped from 50-50 to zero for Sunday's game.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski, recovering from back surgery, has also been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills.
