Report: No structural damage to Lions RB Reggie Bush's knee

Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush suffered no structural damage to his left knee after being injured on Sunday, and his availability for this weekend's game against the Washington Redskins has not been determined, reports Pro Football Talk.

Bush suffered the injury in the second quarter of the team's 25-21 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Bush had already been nursing a thumb and a groin injury before the game.

So far this season, Bush has rushed for 115 yards on 30 carries and has seven receptions for 145 yards and a touchdown.

Lions head coach Jim Schwartz sounded optimistic about Bush's MRI results.

"The tests today were encouraging," Schwartz said. "He's going to be sore but he doesn't have anything that is going to be long term. It's too hard to speculate on injuries. That's why I usually don't."
