A 41-21 loss to UCLA has revived criticism of Bo Pelini and his coaching staff at Nebraska.

Nebraska Cornhuskers fans are restless these days despite some moderate success over the last few seasons.

They certainly won't be happy about a recording that posted on Deadspin, in which Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini said he didn't care what the fans think.

Nebraska is coming off a 41-21 home loss to UCLA on Saturday, where the Bruins scored the last 38 points of the game.

In the 2011 recording, Pelini, who has been Nebraska's coach since 2008 and has an overall record of 51-21, shows his fondness for the F-Word.

"It took everything in my power to not say, 'F*** you, fans. F*** all of you.' F*** 'em."

"Our crowd. What a bunch of f***ing fair-weather f***ing—they can all kiss my ass out the f***ing door. 'Cause the day is f***ing coming now. We'll see what they can do when I'm f***ing gone. I'm so f***ing pissed off."

Pelini later apologized for those comments.

"I want to sincerely apologize for my comments from two years ago which became public today," he said in a statement. I take full responsibility for these comments.  They were spoken in a private room following the Ohio State game. I was venting following a series of emotional events which led to this moment."

"That being said, these comments are in no way indicative of my true feelings.  I love it here in Nebraska.  I again apologize to anyone whom I have offended.”

Despite the apology, Nebraska's top administrators had plenty to say about Pelini's rant.

"I am aware of the publication of Coach Pelini's comments, I am disappointed and in discussions with Shawn Eichorst about addressing the issue," Nebraska Chancellor Harvey Perlman said.

“I am disheartened and disappointed by the 2011 comments published today attributed to Coach Pelini about our dedicated and passionate fans and supporters," said Nebraska athletic director Shawn Eichorst said. "I have spoken with Chancellor Perlman and I have addressed the situation with Bo and expressed our deep concern."
