The NFL fined Tennesee Titans running back Jackie Battle $21,000 for violating the league's crown of the helmet rule during Sunday’s loss against the Houston Texans, reports Pro Football Talk.

Battle was fined for lowering his helmet into Texans safety Danieal Manning.

Battle is the first NFL running back to be fined under the new league rule banning lowering the crown of the helmet into an opponent.
