The Clippers, in need of bulking up their front-line reserves, have invited Lou Amundson to training camp, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
The Clippers are following through on their long-rumored dalliance with Amundson with a non-guaranteed contract. Stein reports Amundson, 30, has been playing in pickup games at the Clippers' facility.

The Lakers also reportedly had interest in Amundson, who bounced between three teams (Bulls, Pelicans, T-Wolves) last season. He could give the Clippers a physical alternative for backups Ryan Hollins and Byron Mullens behind starters Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
