When a baseball team announces that are going have a bobblehead night in anticipation of a nice crowd and to honor a future Hall of Famer, they better make sure that the bobbleheads show up.

The New York Yankees found out the hard way on Tuesday night when they were honoring retiring closer Mariano Rivera by having his bobblehead night.

The only problem....the bobbleheads were no where to be found when the game started.

The team later announced that the first 18,000 fans to enter Yankee Stadium tonight "would receive vouchers that can be redeemed for a Mariano Rivera bobblehead."
