Injured Miami Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake was limited in practice this week with a knee injury, but he is hopeful that he will play in Monday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

Miami has not put out an injury report, and Wake's availability for the game is uncertain.

Wake was injured in the first quarter of Sunday's 27-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. It was reported earlier in the week that he would likely miss two to three weeks with a knee injury.

Wake did not participate in team drills on Wednesday, and wore sweatpants over top of a knee brace.

"All great competitors want to play,'' coach Joe Philbin said to the Miami Herald. "We certainly would never put out a player we thought wasn't ready to play the game and protect himself, so we'll just see how practice goes.''
