Lane Kiffin's most high-profile recruit did not mince words when asked his reaction to the USC head coach's firing.

"I feel that he should have been fired a while ago," Cordell Broadus -- son of rapper Snoop Dogg -- told 247Sports.com.

Broadus, regarded as one of the top 10 wide receiver recruits in the Class of 2015, received an offer from USC in April. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound 16-year-old has also received offers from LSU, Nebraska, and USC rivals California and UCLA.

He also told the website that “USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year and I’m anxious to see what they are going to look like."

Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, is a well-known Trojans fan who has attended practice at USC.

He was involved in a scandal last month when reports emerged that he picked up USC running back Silas Reed in a limo during his recruitment. Kiffin denied the report, saying "I've never met Snoop Dogg in my life.
