Notre Dame offered a scholarship to four-star receiver Cordell Broadus, who happens to be rapper Snoop Dogg's son, reports the Chicago Tribune's Brian Hamilton.
Broadus, a 6-foot-3 high school junior, had 513 yards and seven touchdowns as a sophomore last season and has reportedly received offers from LSU, Nebraska, UCLA and USC among others.
Broadus' high school coach made the announcement via Twitter.
"Cordell Broadus was offered by Notre Dame today," Diamond Bar (Calif.) High School coach Ryan Maine wrote on the football team's Twitter account.
The younger Broadus made news last month when he said that USC's firing of head coach Lane Kiffin was long overdue.
“USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year and I’m anxious to see what they are going to look like." he said.STAPLES: Washington looks to continue recent resurgence
