Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb will miss six to eight weeks after suffering a fractured fibula in Green Bay's 19-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Cobb, 23, leads the team in catches with 29. He has 378 receiving yards and two touchdowns, also. His 45 targets are also the most on the team.

He was injured in the second quarter after he was hit in the knee by Ravens safety Matt Elam.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers confronted Elam after the play and said he could have avoided hitting Cobb low.

"I just felt like, from my vantage point, he had plenty of time to not take out a guy's legs in that situation," Rodgers told reporters.

"I think he could have hit him in the proper hitting zone, and that's what I told him," Rodgers said. "The other safety came over and actually made a very knowledgeable point, which I appreciated a little intelligent answer back and forth about some of the issues defensive players have to deal with (hitting in) the target area. I totally understand that and get that."
