Those spectators at Monday night's NLCS Game 3 who were wondering when the Dodgers added a dancing bear mascot to their game-day presentation got their answer in the bottom of the eighth inning: the Dodgers don't have a bear mascot.

After entertaining the crowd -- including Academy Award-winning actor Dustin Hoffman -- with jumps, splits and other dance moves on top of the Cardinals' dugout, the bear's gig was up. Dodger Stadium security eventually caught on that the mascot actually was a fan dressed in a bear costume and not affiliated with the team.

The imposter was gingerly removed from atop the dugout and ushered away, but not before getting air time in the background of a TBS shot and videos that are taking off on social media.
