There are "teams in the East that hate us" according to LeBron James.

LeBron James spoke out on Tuesday about the other contenders in the Eastern Conference, telling Ethan Skolnik of Turner Sports, "There's tension...but there's no rivalries."

James also said that the Heat were aware that after two straight championship campaigns, there was some animosity between them and other teams :

"There's a lot of teams that want to knock us off. There's a couple of teams in the East that hate us. And we know who they are."

The comments came before the Heat's preseason game in Washington against the Wizards. Fellow Big 3 member Dwyane Wade also told reporters on Tuesday that the bad blood between the Heat and Celtics would "transfer well" to the Nets after the Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce trade.
