Grizzlies owner challenges Michael Jordan to $1 million game
Grizzlies owner Robert Pera used Twitter to challenge the greatest player of all time to a game of 1-on-1. On Monday night, Pera tweeted his plan to put up $1 million for charity if Michael Jordan will take him on.
Jordan's name came up after Pera fielded suggestions that he play Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. If the Grizzlies owner is to play another NBA owner, he wants Jordan, who owns the Bobcats.
Pera, 35, already had plans to play Grizzlies shooting guard Tony Allen in a 1-on-1 game dubbed "A Battle on the Bluff. " But the event scheduled to raise $100,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis was postponed.
How much game does Pera have when compared to other NBA owners? He recently released a YouTube video of him sinking jump shots during drills with Grizzlies coaches on the team's practice court.http://videomedia.commercialappeal.com/media/videos/2013/10/Pera.mp4
