Broncos QB Peyton Manning on Jim Irsay-John Fox feud: No comment

When Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay told USA Today earlier this week that the team "changed (their) model a little bit" because the Colts wanted more than one Super Bowl championship during ex-Colts quarterback Peyton Manning's 14-year tenure in Indianapolis, it caught the attention of Denver Broncos head coach John Fox.

Manning returns to Indianapolis this Sunday to play the Colts for the first time since he was released in March 2012.  The Colts selected Andrew Luck with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft the next month.

Fox said Irsay's comments "disappointing and inappropriate."

Irsay said his comments were taken out of context.

"Fox, I have great respect for him," Irsay said. "I don't think that the comments, however they came back to people, I know they were misperceived."

Manning, who leads the NFL with 22 touchdown passes this season, wanted nothing to do with the controversy.

"I don't have anything to say about either one of those," Manning said, according to NFL.com.

Manning was then was asked if his relationship with Irsay had been strained or remains the same.

 "No, I can't. And I won't," Manning added.
