Crimson Tide strong safety Vinnie Sunseri will miss the remainder of the season after having knee surgery, according to ESPN.
Sunseri injured his left knee while covering a kickoff in the first half of Alabama's 52-0 win against Arkansas on Saturday, and coach Nick Saban told the media on Monday that the injury would end the junior's season. The injury comes just after free safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was reinstated after missing two games for an NCAA violation. The Tide lost another safety for the season in September when Nick Perry went down with a shoulder injury.
