The two-time defending champion Miami Heat begin their title defense on Tuesday, when they'll receive their championship rings.

To celebrate the occasion, the team will be wearing special gold-themed jerseys and warmup jackets, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell. The jackets are selling for $160 at the NBA store.

This clearly isn't the first time that the NBA has toyed with its jerseys. Teams wear special Noche Latina jerseys to honor Hispanic heritage, the Lakers now occasionally wear black, the Warriors' jerseys have sleeves and nicknames may soon replace surnames on the backs of uniforms.
