The Vikings' quarterback carousel may circle back to where it started this season.

According to head coach Leslie Frazier, Josh Freeman suffered a concussion during Monday night's loss to the Giants and is symptomatic, so it's "more than likely" that Christian Ponder will start Sunday night's game against the Packers.

"We have to move forward as if he is not playing on Sunday night," Frazier said of Freeman, who he had said on Tuesday would remain the starting quarterback despite going 20-for-53 on Monday.

Ponder was Minnesota's starter entering the year but struggled. He lost his job to Matt Cassel and then the Vikings signed Freeman, leaving Ponder's status with the team in doubt.
