Nebraska QB Taylor Martinez is expected to return to the field for Saturday's game versus Minnesota, according to Joe Schad of ESPN.
Turf toe has kept Martinez on the sidelines since the Cornhuskers lost to UCLA on Sept. 14, and head coach Bo Pelini told reporters earlier that he would be a game time decision against a surging Golden Gophers team.

The Cornhuskers have started backup Tommy Armstrong Jr. in Martinez's absence, and the redshirt freshman has been able to lead the team to a 3-0 record in that time.
