Report: Bengals LB Rey Maualuga diagnosed with MCL injury, out 3-4 weeks

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga sprained the medial collateral ligament in his knee on Sunday and is expected to miss three to four weeks, reports ESPN.com.

Maualuga, 26, was injured with four minutes left in the second quarter of the Bengals 49-9 rout of the New York Jets. He was also diagnosed with a concussion in the game.

Maualuga has started in 67 career games for the Bengals, including eight this season after being a second-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft.
