Former Eagle Freddie Mitchell will serve a 37 month prison sentence for tax fraud.

Freddie Mitchell has been sentenced to 37 months in prison for his role in a tax fraud scam, according to Philly.com.

Mitchell could have faced up to ten years for withholding millions of dollars in taxes from the government, but the former wide receiver accepted a plea deal that will put him behind bars for about three years.
