Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles has passed the league mandated concussion test and been cleared to play in Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.

According to CBS Philadelphia, an independent neurologist cleared Foles to return to practice on Wednesday, a little more than a week after he suffered the concussion in the 17-3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Offensive Coordinator Pat Shurmer said Foles will split reps at Tuesday's practice with rookie Matt Barkley.

Foles was filling in for quarterback Michael Vick, who has missed part of the season with a lingering strained hamstring. Vick returned the following game in the Eagles' matchup with the New York Giants on Oct. 27 but was once again sidelined before the end of the half because of the injury, leaving Barkley to finish the game, which the Eagles lost 15-7.

With Vick likely out for the Raiders game and Foles cleared to return, the Eagles haven't announced whether they will go with the rookie or Foles. On the season, the 24-year-old Foles is 52-for-90 for 622 yards and has six touchdowns and no interceptions; Barkley is 28-for-46 for 287 yards with no touchdowns and four interceptions.
