Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose said that he will play tonight in the team's home opener against the New York Knicks despite a neck injury.

Rose added that he is not sure when the injury occurred but that it could have happened during Tuesday's 107-95 loss to the Miami Heat.

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said that Rose would be a game-time decision, but when asked, Rose said he is definitely going to be in the lineup.

"Hell yeah," Rose said, via ESPN.com. "For sure I know I'm going to play. But it's just that I've got to get loose. I've been getting treatment the last couple of days, even this morning. It's just getting my blood going, then getting into the arena and seeing how much attention there is for tonight."
