Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders will not play in Wednesday night's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers because of an "off-court incident," Bucks head coach Larry Drew said.

According to Racine Journal Times columinst Gery Woelfel, Sanders is being investigated because he got into a bar fight last weekend.

Milwaukee television station TMJ4 is reporting that police want to talk to Sanders about a fight that happened at a Milwaukee club where Sanders allegedly threw punches and broke champagne bottles over the heads of people while security personnel tried to break up a fight in the club's VIP section.

Sanders did not practice yesterday because of a swollen right thumb.

Sanders, 24, is averaging just three points and four rebounds per game through the team's first three games this season. The team gave him a $44 million extension over the offseason.
