Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens with a high ankle sprain, coach Marc Trestman said on Monday.

Trestman said that Cutler is "week to week, and it certainly won't be this week."

Cutler came back from a groin injury early and played most of the Bears' 21-19 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Backup Josh McCown came on in relief of Cutler with 2:17 left to play in the fourth quarter and led them to a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
