The Chicago Bears have placed cornerback Charles Tillman on the IR/designated to return list.

The team announced that Tillman has suffered a right triceps injury and will not play again in the regular season, although league rules would allow him to be reactivated for the postseason. The injury occurred in the second half of the team's home loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

The two-time Pro-Bowler is the latest casualty in a series of defensive injuries for Chicago that includes linebacker Lance Briggs and tackles Henry Melton and Nate Collins.
