The Bills will be without their top wide receiver, Steve Johnson, for Sunday's game against the Jets, the team announced on Friday.

Johnson, who's posted three straight 1,000-yard seasons, left last week's loss to the Steelers with a groin injury. The Bills will also be without rookie Robert Woods, so another rookie, Marquise Goodwin, a third-round pick out of Texas, will likely get the start along with T.J. Graham.

Johnson has 41 receptions for 471 yards and three touchdowns in nine games this season. He was targeted 10 or more times in three of the last four games.

Buffalo (3-7) is three games behind the Jets (5-4) for the final playoff spot in the AFC, but Bills owner Ralph Wilson Jr. had to buy the remaining tickets for Sunday's game to avoid a local TV blackout.
