San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is "on track to play" Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, according to Matt Barrows of The Sacramento Bee. He was listed as questionable after suffering a concussion last week.

Davis was cleared for non-contact action Wednesday and practiced in a no-contact jersey Friday. Davis and teammate safety Eric Reid, who also suffered a concussion, went against each other for the final contact test. From the report:

"Just had to get banged around a little bit," Davis said. "And that's pretty much it for now. Now it depends on how I feel the next couple of days."
Barrows reported that if both players were asymptomatic, they would be able to play Sunday.
