Derrick Rose left the Bulls game in the 3rd quarter and was taken to the locker room shortly after on Friday night, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

Rose came out of the game after his right leg buckled when he tried to turn up-court, and trainers focused on his right knee as Rose grimaced once he reached the bench. He was taken to the Bulls locker room between the 3rd and 4th quarter. The former MVP missed all of last season with a torn ACL in his left knee.

Rose had tied his season high of 20 points when he left the game in Portland. Bulls officials say he will not return to the game.
